The ride isn't over...

I'm trying not to feel discouraged. No new situations from the agency...and after the first 4 situations presenting themselves to us a few weeks ago, I can't help but wonder WHEN it will all happen. I know deep down that it will eventually happen for our family. But at times, I feel like I'm on a rollar coaster ride and I keep telling the attendant (ie: God) that it's time stop the ride.
But He knows better...he knows what the rest of the ride will entail. I need to trust in Him for the unveiling of His plan. Regardless of how many ups and downs there might be, I need to lean on Him through everything. Afterall, this is HIS plan not mine. I need to remember that.

If you wouldn't mind praying for me and my family, I would appreciate it.

Waiting...

Today is the official start of Week 4 since the last situation was presented to us. Without a doubt, the waiting is the hardest part about adoption. We are all so anxious to meet our litle wonder and see who God has picked out for our family.

We all have our own way of dealing with the waiting. PQ has been rattling off the I CAN'T WAIT's about the babies arrival while Papa H and I have been daydreaming about who our little person will be. I continue to stalk our email account for updates from our agency and sometimes that can get a little discouraging for us (because we don't always have 'news' to report on).

All in all, things are going well. We can't complain. We have an awesome God that has our families plans all worked out for His glory. Aaah, what an awesome reassurance! The creator of the universe has our life story all written out for us. All we have to do is trust Him and soon He will reveal our little person to us.

Man oh man, I can't wait....and I know that so many people are praying for our family through all of this. Our child is being prayed about and loved on even before anyone has met them. Amazing...absolutely amazing.

Come soon, Baby H! We can't wait to meet you!
